Love, Simon (2018)
If you like plot twists, then this is a must-watch film for you. Simon, a gay character in the movie, is a high school senior with a big secret. He leads an everyday life and struggles to keep his sexuality a secret. He later discovers that a classmate, “Blue”, is going through the same problem as him. He starts talking with Blue and falls in love with him without them ever even meeting in person. However, as the story unfolds, his secret becomes threatened, and he now has to face everyone.
Holding The man (2015)
This is a classic gay love story that will take you on an emotional roller coaster. The picture is based on Tim and John’s love story, which lasted for 15 years. They met and fell in love while still teenagers and have endured all the hardships life threw at them in their long time together.
Boy Erased (2018)
This interesting movie features Lucas Hedges, who plays the role of a gay preacher’s son. After being outed to his parents, they send him to gay conversion therapy or risk being shunned. In a bid to survive the gay conversion, his friend advises him to fake the whole conversion exercise and play along.
Beach Rats (2017)
This gripping American gay drama is centred on the complicated life of a typical teen. His father is on a deathbed and faces unending pressure to find a girlfriend from his mom. He escapes this pressure and leads a life where he hangs out with delinquent friends and occasionally flirts with older men online.

This is a classic movie set in a lovely duplex apartment in New York. The movie is centred on Michael, a middle-aged gay man who invites a couple of his gay friends to a birthday party to honour Harold. Harold is their gay Jewish pal. The party starts well and is later marred with several interesting twists and turns. The movie‘s highlight is when a game is introduced whereby each person in the apartment was to make a phone call to the love of their lives and confess their feelings.

This enchanting movie features a teen named Song, who finds himself in the middle of a nasty feud. The feud is between Song’s mother and his deceased father’s secret male lover. Songs mother discovers that his late husband signed over the insurance policy to his gay lover. Song finds his allegiance split when he starts becoming close to the man his late father loved. He even takes refuge in his home.
